Pizza: Pierogi Pizza

Charity: TC Christmas Fund 

Jeff has been covering news and community events in Greater Victoria for many years and is a familiar face to regular Times Colonist readers. Working with Sawmill chef Darcy Creamore and the Sawmill kitchen team, Jeff created a flavourful, pierogi-inspired pizza that starts with white sauce and chili flakes, includes caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, smashed potato and mozzarella cheese, with a sour cream drizzle and sprinkled green onions. For each Pierogi Pizza sold at our Chemainus and Colwood locations, we’ll donate $5 to the TC Christmas Fund, the charity that has helped those in need in the community since 1956 and raised more than $1.1 million last year alone.
